MindShare eBooks and Presentations
Once you purchase an eBook from mindshare.com, it is placed in your MindShare account and is available to download. Below is a list of the attributes of MindShare's eBooks:
How to access your eBooks:
- Log in to your MindShare account www.mindshare.com/login.
- Click on the "My eBooks/Presentations" tab.
- Download your eBook(s)
- Open your eBook from your machine
- If this is your first MindShare eBook, you may be required to install an Acrobat plug-in from FileOpen. Adobe Acrobat can usually find the necessary plug-in for you, but you can also manually install it by going here.
eBook Attributes:
- A PDF that is searchable, has color graphics, is markable and is DRM protected
- Requires a plug-in for Acrobat which can be downloaded below (more info also below)
- Can be authorized for viewing on up to 3 machines simultaneously
- Authorization requires entering your email address and password (same values used to access your MindShare account)
- The machine must be connected to the internet for authorization to be successful
- Once a machine has been authorized, the eBook can be viewed on that machine whether online or offline without requiring re-authorization

About Our eBook Security:
MindShare uses the FileOpen plug-in to control access to the eBooks. This is a security feature implemented so we can continue to offer customers what they want, eBooks. The first time you open a file, Adobe will mention that you need to update some components. Click "Ok" to search the Adobe website for the missing components. This is an approved Adobe plug-in and is very small. It only has to be installed once. If you wish to install the plug-in ahead of time, you can get the plug-in directly from this link: http://plugin.fileopen.com/
